Marija Djokic Petrovic received his MSc in Faculty of Science University of Kragujevac, Serbia. She is employed as a Researcher at Virtual Vehicle mbH, research center at Technical University Graz, Austria. She is also Research Associate and PhD student at the Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. Her research interests include Semantic Web technologies, Bioinformatics and Natural Language Processing. She is currently engaged in a couple of projects in automotive car industry. |
Vladimir Cvejtkovic received his PhD in Faculty of Science University of Kragujevac, Serbia. He is employed at Faculty of Science, Department of Physics as assistant professor. He teaches subjects in informatics for the students of physics: object oriented programming, information sysms, web programming, data acquisition, expert systems. His scientific interest and field of research includes informatics support for physics, expert systems for spectra analysis, data acquisition, measurement and control, web laboratories and Semantic Web. |

Jeremy Yang is research scientist in the University of New Mexico Translational Informatics Division, focused on biomolecular and biomedical data science, and developing computational and informatics to support this research. Projects include CARLSBAD, BARD, and Illuminating the Druggable Genome (IDG), and DrugCentral. He is also a member of Integrative Data Science Lab (IDSL) in the Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing. The IDSL focuses on the development of algorithms and tools for large scale integrative data mining of drug discovery, chemical & biological data, with emphasis on semantic web technologies such as in the projects Chem2Bio2RDF and SLAP. He also had been involved in Data2Discovery. |
Marko Zivanovic finished his PhD in Cell and Molecular Biology at Masaryk University, Czech Republic. Since May 2011 he is reasearcher at Faculty of Science, University of Kragujevac, Serbia. Marko`s main activities are related to preclinical testing of newly synthesized active substances on cancer cells through project III41010 PIBAS (Preclinical Testing of Bioactive Substances). His research interests are preclinical testings, cancer biology, electrochemistry and biosensors. |

David Wild is an Associate Professor at Indiana University School of Informatics and Computing, where he is Director of Data Science Academic Programs, overseeing over 500 graduate students in data science. He leads the Integrative Data Science laboratory, and is Founder and President of Data2Discovery Inc., a company providing integrative data science expertise and tools with deep domain expertise in healthcare and pharmaceutical research. His research interests include integrative data science - data science that brings together heterogeneous data sources and skill sets to tackle complex problems; data science for healthcare; cheminformatics; network chemical biology; informatics in disasters and emergency response; and data privacy and security. He is a founding editor of the Journal of Cheminformatics. |
